A very interesting competition has recently taken place in one of the biggest shopping centres in town. The owner of the centre, with cooperation with a local driving centre had organised a contest for driving licence holders. The aim was to find out which participant was the best skilled driver. Such skills are usually assessed when you are passing your driving tests. Then some drivers just forget about them, thinking nobody will be testing them any more. But it"s not necessarily so. The winner of the competition won a set of brand new tyres. The participants" task was to overcome a distance of one mile which was packed with a variety of obstacles. A speed limit was established to avoid dangerous accidents. It was not a race, that was the first rule, and it was explained to the participants straight away. The winner overcame all of the obstacles without moving them. The person has been a car driving licence holder for just three years, but she says that she used to ride a motorcycle for years. She even took part in sport races at some point of her life. The set of tyres was not the only price. The winner was additionally offered free car service at one of the most frequently recommended car service stations in town.
